briqs is a real-estate operating system used by developers and channel partner firms in India. For privacy questions, write to contact@briqs.in.
What this policy covers
It covers (1) visitors to this marketing site, (2) people who contact us or book a demo, and (3) authorised users of the briqs product. Customer data that a developer or channel partner uploads into their own workspace is processed on their instructions as a service provider.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use briqs, this may include:
- Contact and account details — name, work email, phone, company or firm name, role, and similar details you give us on a form or during onboarding.
- Product data — leads, inventory, bookings, KYC documents, call and WhatsApp records, tour activity, payment and commission records, and related files that a customer stores in briqs.
- Usage data — pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location from IP, and how features are used, so we can keep the site and product reliable.
- Local preferences — this site stores your theme choice (light or dark) in your browser via localStorage. It is not sent to our servers.
How we use information
We use it to respond to enquiries, run demos and accounts, provide and improve the product, send service messages, measure site performance, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and similar technologies
This marketing site uses localStorage for the theme toggle. We may also use essential cookies or similar tools needed for the site to work. Third-party fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. If we add analytics later, we will update this page.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us host, email, or operate briqs; when a customer instructs us to (for example connecting 99acres, MagicBricks, Meta, or Google); or when the law requires it. Each customer’s workspace is separate from others.
Retention
Demo and contact enquiries are kept as long as needed to follow up and for a reasonable business record. Product data is retained for the life of the customer account and deleted or returned according to the contract after it ends, unless we must keep a copy for legal reasons.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect information in transit and at rest, and to limit access to people who need it for their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law (including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may ask to access, correct, or erase personal data we hold about you, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Workspace data is controlled by the customer organisation — start with your admin, or write to us and we will help route the request.
To exercise a right, email contact@briqs.in. We may need to verify your identity before we act.
Children
briqs is built for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site or product after an update means you accept the revised policy.
